Wild, eco-camping at Brithdir Mawr during August

Every morning you can wake up at the foot of Mynydd Carningli, less than 2 miles from the north Pembrokeshire coast at Newport.

The site is pretty basic so don’t expect all the luxuries of some campsites. We are completely off-grid at Brithdir Mawr so there are no electric hook ups. We have solar showers that warm under the sun, and a bucket shower so you can heat water on your campfire / stove and use in a private cubicle. We have some very nice compost loos in the woods, cold water sinks and plenty of fresh spring water!

When staying at Brithdir Mawr you have access to walk in our woodland and explore our stone circle. It is a 45 minute walk to the top of Carningli and a similar walk down into Newport with it’s shops, cafe’s and pubs. Plus we are only a mile down the road from the excellent Bluestone Brewing Company which is well worth a visit!
